Dan Manzanares began his writer’s journey as a poet a decade ago. While attending college, poetry was his main focus, followed closely by fiction writing. Dan has a bachelor of arts in English, founded and was president of his university’s first creative writing club (winning the awards Best Rookie Club of the Year 2003 and Most Outstanding Event of the Year: Night Write 2004), was the managing editor of Hawaii Pacific Review, a paid tutor, contributing writer/editor for the school’s first student literary magazine Wanderlust, and a published poet in the national award-winning newspaper The Kalamalama.
Post-college, Manzanares became a black-and-white photographer, selling dozens of framed and individual prints at coffeehouses and street fairs in the Denver-metro area; his collections can be viewed in his gallery.
In 2005, Manzanares wrote his first novel, which became the foundational plot line for his debut novel The Ever-Ring, published December 2008. The Ever-Ring breaks new ground by becoming the first novel within the genre metaphysical fiction.
Writologist, Kyan, LLC
Kyan’s primary mission is to explore your five depths of imagination. The group of writings produced from all five depths of imagination is called an epoch. The purpose of an epoch is to inspire you to pursue larger fictional projects such as novels, poetry collections, short stories, and screenplays.
Writology is about you and your need to write. A writological environment feeds your strongest fictional ideas by providing you the type of inspiration unique to your writerhood. The writological process is new, developed by Dan Manzanares to help you the writer journey to your most creative pockets of imagination.
